Meet the Editors
Jane Chung attends Westchester Church in New York. She has four children, the youngest of whom she homeschools. She is happy to serve in leadership roles in ECKCM, FAMBAM, and KCA Women’s Ministry. She graduated from Wesleyan University where she majored in English and where she met her husband, Eric. She also has a Masters in General and Special Education. Recently, Jane has picked up a lot of skills over the past year (car maintenance, hair cutting, kimchi making), but the one she enjoys the most is sewing. She finds her biggest joy in spreading the love of Jesus and revealing God’s wonderful character to those in her family, church, and community.
Yung Mi Faith Suh has a degree in Communications and has over 10 years experience in the publishing industry. She is a member of the Westchester Church, NY.

Dr. Richard Choi is the Associate Professor of New Testament and Acting Department Chair of the New Testament at the Andrews Theological Seminary. He has a B.A. from Pacific Union College, a MDiv degree from Andrews University, and a PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been the pastor of several Korean-American churches and continues to speak at a variety of venues, such as Korean Campmeetings.
Dr. Jae Park is a physician practicing in Warsaw, Indiana and attends the Living Word Fellowship in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He is also a sponsor for the Online English Compass.
Meet the Contributing Editors
D. David Kim is the English Ministry Pastor of the Washington-Spencerville Korean Seventh-day Adventist Church and an adjunct professor at Washington Adventist University. He has a B.A. from Southern Adventist University and a MDiv degree from Andrews University. He is a PhD student at Claremont Graduate University and lives in Maryland with his wife Miya and two daughters. He served as the Editor of the English Compass from 1994 to 1999 and has been as a Contributing Editor since 2001.
Jinha Kim graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in French Literature and worked as an Urban Outreach Coordinator at the Church of the Advent Hope in New York City, NY. She graduated from Andrews Theological Seminary with a MDiv degree and is currently an Associate Pastor of the Andrews Korean Church in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
Justin Kim graduated from Brandeis University with degrees in sociology and biology. With a theology background from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, he served as program director for the Center for Adventist Ministry to Public University Students (CAMPUS) as well as co-founder of the Generation of Youth for Christ (GYC). He has also served as youth pastor and senior pastor of Korean churches and currently pastors the Detroit Oakwood Seventh-day Adventist Church in Michigan.
Jen Song graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Brain and Cognitive Science. She also has a MAT in Secondary Education and a MS in Special Education from Andrews University. She has taught in various schools, age groups, and abilities, and is still being schooled by God.
